hello, i want you to go your phone setting, press the menu, scroll to profile, select the profile you are using and personalize it. however, when personalizing scroll down to ringing type and select the ringing type you want. if this does not work, open the phone, remove the ringer [the ringer is a small metal touching the panel of the phone, read it with meter, if it does not read, change it and replace it with a good one.

The caller id information is sent from your local telco provider after the first ring and might not be able to be extended to the individual sets, try backing off the ring to answer on your voice mail from 2 to 3 rings to see if the information is then passed on. The Voice Messaging System message is being sent from the system showing who transfered the call to you. You should also notice that the ring pattern when that message is displayed is a standard ring followed by a beep meaning a transfer is taking place.
From ext. 10 or 11, press Feature 00, left intercom (twice), right intercom (once), Dial ext. number of boss' phone. Lights on the line button will indicate ringing state for that line:
Green light - Immediate ring
Fast Flutter Green light - No ring
Slow Flashing Green light - Delayed ring
Press each line key until Fast Flutter Green light appears.
Press Feature 00 to exit programming.
Are you trying to change if it rings or how it sounds when it rings?
The phone you have (Partner 18D) can be used on several different Avaya phone systems that all program differently. To change when it rings, this would need to done in the system programming (not the phone) All the manuals are avaialble on Avaya's web site but you need to know which system you have before you can start searching. www.avaya.com
