Try enabling wma playback in thesettings menu. but if you dont have internet, try buying the "media manager" at a video game store for your computer once you download it it acts as a media player and a syncronizer for your psp.

hi, there is an option on the psp menu taht enables the psp to play WMA files on it. just enable it and they should work..
If this doesn't work try to convert the zzzz.WMA into zzzzz.mp3 format, you can get a FREE WMA to MP3 converete at www.download.com
So you are having with the WMA Playback? (wireless network coverage may needed if you would to activate WMA Playback.):
Try this (for those that didn't have any wireless coverage and M33 CFW installed.): 1. Hold down the power off for 10 seconds. 2. Click [R] trigger at the right shoulder. 3. Keep it pressed, and turn on your PSP while you press it. 4. Go to registry hack>Enable WMA Playback. 5. Exit
Try this (for those that have wireless coverage and OE FW installed.): 1. Go to Settings>System Settings>Enable WMA Playback. 2. And you're successfully enabled your WMA Playback.
If you want to enable WMA playback, just go to the Recovery Menu of your PSP (do this by turning OFF your PSP [hold the off button up for about 10or more secs until your PSP completely shutsdown] then go to REGISTRY HACKS> then you should see there the choices for BUTTON ASSIGN, ACTIVATE WMA PLAYBACK, and ACTIVATE FLASH PLAYER...just press X over ACTIVATE WMA PLAYBACK (it should be highlighted in RED) then you're done! Hope this helps!
According to PSP system software update 2.60 allow the PSP to be able to play WMA files. So if you have all the latest system file updates on your PSP, you should be able to play WMA files. However here is the link I found to be very helpful.
what ever you do, DO NOT RESET SETTINGS cause then you just have to reset them and it wont do you any good. I had the same problem. The most lodgicall way to solve this is just to spend like 3 bucks at mcdonalds and get the wifi so you can play online multiplayer, go on the internet, and fix the wma feature. Or you could just free load off of a friends wifi or wirless setup. But you may have to enter a security code.
