Who is your ISP? Input the name of your ISP + the words "mail server names " into Google search bar. Once you find out the server name, go to Options of your email client and input that server name into POP3 server name field.

Suddenly I am having problems getting into my Outlook Express e-mail accout. This is what I am getting. There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account:...

OK you need to set up you account details again, it seems yours have been lost? corrupted or something. Anyway that error has to do with the actual email server, send receive settings.
Below is a How To Do it.... http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/using/howto/oe/setup.mspx

You need to put you Email server details as shown in the tutorial,if you don't know them simply Google for the info.

I get this message on my computer that says 'Your Microsoft Exchange Server is Unavailable." How do I make it available?

By the sounds of it you are using Outlook 2007 or 2010
to download your email from sites like hotmail and Yahoo you need POP3 not Exchange. Exchange is a Microsoft Email server used by companies.

to remove the exchange section in outlook you need to go to the "Configuration Panel" then click on "Mail" in there you will have a profile called "Outlook" click on "Email acounts" and remove the item that says "Exchange" then click "Add " tick the box "Manually selct settings" select POP3 and add the details for your email as per their instructions

What is my incoming email server type and pop3 or imap and outgoing server smtp name

Hi,

Basically its your internet provider address that goes after both POP and SMTP.

For example, pop.ntlworld.com and smtp.ntlworld.com yours could be verizon.net or something similar to that.

POP3 is incoming and SMTP is outgoing.

Please post back if you need anymore help.

Regards.

Need 2 enable pop3 dont know what 2 do says i need this 2 send and recieve emails via outlook express

You have to go to the website of your internet provider and find the email server information. Then you open outlook express, click on account setup and enter the server information.

I can do this for you for a fee of $14.95. My email address is buffalonymann@yahoo.com. You can create a free email account at yahoo (web based) and contact me by email

Email set up problems

from the data you have given, me, it sounds like you are using Either Outlook, or the bundled Windows Mail service.
What is happening, is that an email your program is trying to send, an email with "test" in the subject line, but is unable to because it cannot connect to the server. looking at the string, I see several problems. make sure your settings are configured a mentioned below:
  • Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)
  • Outgoing (SMTP) Server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication)
  • Account Name/Login Name: your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")
  • Email Address: your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)
If this doesn't resolve your problem, refer to this page for more information. (Note: if you do not subscribe and pay in to a "Yahoo Plus" plan, this could also pose a problem, as Yahoo does not allow you to use third-party email programs with their "free" service, as they like to restrict it to webmail only. If you want a free email service that *does* however, I strongly suggest you check out google's Gmail service [what I use])
