My 04' vue jerks and sputters as it accelerates,and the gas mileage has decreased from 30 to 20 miles a gallon,i took it to local auto part store and had it scanned , the scan couldnt identify a problem.?? I m sure it has to do with the fuel system somewhere so i tried to change the fuel filter and that didnt solve it ,when ever it does it the check engine light comes on and blinksfor about 10 seconds.

I have the exact problem! I am getting a tune up today, will know by tomorrow if it fixes it.

ApprenticeHave a mechanic do a fuel system pressure check. You are probably having a problem with your primary and secondary fuel pumps. This should show up as a problem with a code scan, but sometimes it doesn't show at all.
