Check the drivers for these. You may need to update them at Dell's support site, or reinstall them.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How "often" does it click?
Internet Explorer does a "click" everytime you access a new web-page -- turn your speakers up/down to increase/decrease the sound.

Dell inspiron b 120 sound and internet connestion

For the sound. You will have to install the drivers.

For internet, there should be a computer screen icon on the far bottom right of your taskbar on the bottom of the screen. Right-click on that screen, go to view all avaiable networks, then find yours and click on it. It should automatically connect.

Hope that helps you. Just FYI, a corrupted WINSOCK issue is usually the result of a virus or spyware corruption.

Dell will not connect with internet

Using another PC, download MEMTST86 from memtst86.com follow directions to burn it to a CD. Run overnight in your Dell. If you have two memory modules, try removing one then the other and see if the problem goes away. Sounds like a hardware problem.
