I have a memory stick in my printer and can't get it out. How do I eject the stick? I have a HP Photosmart C3100 all-in-one. I had this happen yesterday and am afraid to try most things tho' I did put a fingernail file in the slot to try to release it. This problem has happened only once.

I think you are talking about the Memory Card (Memory Stick). Hope you installed it with the adapter. If there's no problem with the slot or with the pins inside the slot, it should pop out when it's pushed in with a "click" sound. Push the memory card and release, it will be ejected. But if there's problem, you'll need a pair of tweezers to pull it out. It will not be able to easily pulled out, hold it very tight and push in once and then pull out, it should come out.

If a pin or few pins are bent or twisted, it should be done by a technician or by a pro, otherwise you may damage the card.
