DVD audio I am unable to get any audio using Windows Media Player. I downloaded the newest version and still no audio on DVD's. The audio is fine using Media Player with other sources, like music CD's and video's from the internet.

You need to install a DVD decoder. Media player is horrible on it's own, but works great if you have other DVD decoding software. Try filehippo.com for the software.

Which dvd player is good to be purchased?? I use original DVDs and copied ones also

I like the kind that can play numerous formats and has a USB slot for movies downloaded from the internet. Sony has always been my player of choice. Panasonic is a good one as well.

DVD drive not recognizing audio-visual Cds except audios only

My gut says that the software used to view the vidoes needs to be updated to a version that supports the latest video codecs. My guess is that you are trying to view .mp4 files but the player can only play the audio portion.

If you are using Windows Media Player, then either get the newest version or try an alternate video player like VideoLan VLC or Media Player Classic - Home Cinema which support more file formats.
