HOW.DO.IRECORD.FROM.MY.ION.EZ.VINYL/TAPE.CONVERTER.TO.MY.COMPUTER

These software and devices have to have capture device that plugs into the device you want to record from and goes into your computer often via a USB lead. Once that is connected you should hear the playback on your computer. If you don't then you have probably got the audio inputs to your computer switched off or set to low. As soon as you can hear the source on your computer you hit record on the software and it will capture the sound. The only other way is to install a capture card. Not really practical though for a laptop.

Image below of what these capture devices look like. Red is Right audio White left, Black is SHVS and Yellow is Video.

Want to transfer Hi8 video from cassette my PC sharp 8mm camcorder vl-420 with no battery or adapter

Not sure if that camera works just with a power adapter, some of them need the battery. If you look on Ebay you may find both. If you get them and the camera works ok then you will need a video capture card or USB video capture adapter to connect the camera to the PC. Then you will need to know what type of output lead you need from the camera to the video card/adapter. Usually with older cameras it will have a socket for a lead to allow for showing on TV. It should have the red/yellow/white RCA/Phono connectors on one end and the plug for the camera on the other. Then you will need video capture software. It may come supplied with the capture device.

What are the red yellow and white cords for i have a xbox

The side with 3 RCA jacks, red, white, and yellow, is for connecting the USB to a composite video cable. The black connects to an S-video cable; you would still use the red and white plugs to carry the audio. At least the older XBox's had composite video outputs; you just need the composite video cable (which you may have as they came with many video devices (VCRs, DVD players, video cameras).)

If you need to connect this Video capture device to another type of output, you will need a converter. Component to composite video would be one option. However, you will have signal loss with any converter.

I hope this helps.

VHS to Easy capture to computer

The plugs you speak of are called RCA plugs, (Male side has an outside ring with "slots" around the edge, and a pin in the center. Female side has a short round "riser" with a hole in it). You need just standard Audio/Video hookup cables, available at any electronics store.. Walmart/Target/Kmart has them in the TV section. They get plugged into the Audio (Red & White) OUT of the VCR, into the Audio IN (Red & White) of the Easy Capture. The Yellow lead is for Video In/Out between the VCR and Easy Capture. The black is probably the S-Video connector, (round, has very small square hole, surronded by 4, 5, or 7 tiny pin holes) that can be also used to connect video/audio between VCR(if so equipped) and Easy Capture. Get a set of audio/video dubbing cables (abt $10 usually), connect Red to Red, White to White, Yellow to Yellow. Plug the Easy Capture USB cable into your computer (most likely), start the capture program. Start your vcr, hit Play. You should see your vcr tape playing on the computer screen.

Connecting a sony ccd-trv46e to a computer

Yes, it is possible to connect your Sony CCD-TRV46E camcorder to a computer. In order to do so, you will need a few things:
  1. A video capture device: This device converts the analog video signal from your camcorder into a digital format that your computer can understand. There are several types of video capture devices available, such as USB capture devices, FireWire capture devices, and HDMI capture devices.
  2. A cable to connect the camcorder to the video capture device: The cable you need will depend on the type of video capture device you choose. For example, if you choose a USB capture device, you will need a USB cable. If you choose a FireWire capture device, you will need a FireWire cable.
  3. Software to control the capture process: There are many software options available that can be used to control the capture process, such as VLC, Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, etc.
It seems that you have a cable that connects the camera to the power supply, and another one that is not supposed to connect to anything. To connect your Sony CCD-TRV46E to a computer you will need a specific cable called AV cable (Audio Video cable) that has a yellow plug for video, white and red for audio and a small round plug for power.
Please double check the user manual for your camera and make sure that it supports the transfer of video to a computer before you buy the AV cable or the video capture device.
