Question about Maytag M7Y15F2A Air Conditioner
Not sure what the model # is, but it is a window unit. Was working and then just quit, like it has no power. Then a few days later, it started working again, and then last night, it quit again. I checked the breaker and all is fine there, but it just doesnt have any power. Is there a reset button or what do I need to do to get it working again?
Check all of the connections at the outlet. If everything looks ok test the outlet that it is plugged into with a tester. They can be picked up at most stores for around 8 dollars. If you dont have a tester you can just plug in another device that you have into the outlet and see if it turns on. If everything checks out OK then there is an issue with the A/C unit. It could be alot of different things. My recommendation to you is if it is under warranty contact Maytag and send it in for service. If it is not under warranty you can either contact Maytag and send it in for service or you can call a local heating and cooling shop and see if they can service it for you. Keep me posted - Tech101
