When you moved the water line, did you move the water valve that hooks up to the plumbing also?
After connecting the refrigerator to a water source, flush the
water system. Use a sturdy container to depress and hold the
water dispenser lever for 5 seconds, then release it for
5 seconds. Repeat until water begins to flow. Once water
begins to flow, continue depressing and releasing the
dispenser lever (5 seconds on, 5 seconds off) for an additional
5 minutes. This will flush air from the filter and water
dispensing system. Additional flushing may be required in
some households. As air is cleared from the system, water
may spurt out of the dispenser.
You probably picked up a blockage. I would try burping the line as indicated by holding a glass to the dispenser for 5 seconds and releasing for 5 seconds. See if you start getting a drip or spurts from it. If not, I would replace the filter due to moving the line and possibly dislodging buildup from within the line.
Let me look thru my online manual and see what I can find. I'll get right back to you.
OK John,
Lets check this,
The Dispenser Lock (on some models)
The dispenser can be turned off for easy cleaning or to avoid
unintentional dispensing by small children and pets.
NOTE: The lock feature does not shut off power to the refrigerator,
to the ice maker, or to the dispenser light. It simply deactivates the
dispenser controls and levers. To turn off the ice maker, see “Ice
Maker and Storage Bin.”
? Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to lock the dispenser.
? Press and hold LOCK a second time to unlock the dispenser.
The display screen indicates when the dispenser is locked.

Check that the dispenser is not locked. Some models have a lock feature that deactivates the dispenser levers and control buttons. The lock button is on the dispenser front cover. This feature controls unintentional dispensing during cleaning. Press the "Unlock" or "Locked" button to reactivate the dispenser levers and allow dispenser function. You may need to hold the button for 2 to 3 seconds.

This is a new refrigerator, only 2 months old. I don't think the filter would be a problem. Any other ideas? John
Yes, I thought of that line restriction. The electrician who had rerouted the line did place the extra length of line along the floor joists tacking it up. I undid this to allow the line to be freely curved as it did when it was working before. But to no avail. The system is still not allowing the water to dispense through the refrigerator.. Do you still think the filter is a problem? I still think the air is trapped in the line. What to do?
Hi Rich, Again, no luck. I took out the filter and placed it back. The filter status says it is good. I repeated the burping of the mechanism but to no avail. What can I do now? Any ideas Rich?
Okay Rich, Thanks for your hard work! John
Rich, Success!!!! I finally realized that the water hose was being pinched by refrigerator that was pushed to the back wall. Wow! a lot of trial and error finally solved this problem. I'll have to drill and cut out more into the wall to get the water hose not to be pinched by the refrigerator. Thanks for your help. John
Yes, I needed to talk it out with Rich to understand the problem that was created by the electrician that placed hole in the floor.
