Thanks for trying, but there is no menu - utilities selection. There is a Set up - however no opportunity to move from memory to SD card. Poor design by mfg.

2. Press Review button on back of camera

3. Then Press Menu Button on back of camera

4. Select "Image Storage" option (by depressing the joystick on RHS of back of camera).

5. Select "Internal Memory" option (by depressing the joystick on RHS).

6. Select "Continue"

7. Press Menu button.

8. Press "Review" button

9. Press "Review" button again.

10. Press "Menu" button.

11. Scroll down to "Copy" and select this option by depressing the joystick.

12. Scroll down to "All", then select by depressing the joystick.

Press the menu and look for the utilities section on the camera. There should be a copy from memory to SD.

This is from page 44 of the owners manual I provided a link below if you need a copy:

    http://www.kodak.com/global/plugins/acro...

    Copying pictures and videos

You can copy pictures/videos from a card to internal memory or from internal memory to a card.

Before you copy, make sure that:

■A card is inserted in the camera.

■The camera’s picture storage location is set to the location from which you are copying. (See Changing picture-taking settings, page 33.)

    Copy pictures or videos:

    1
Press the Review button, then press the Menu button.

    2
Press to highlight Copy , then press the OK button.

    3
    Press to highlight an option.

    4
    Press the OK button.

NOTE: Pictures/videos are copied, not moved. To remove pictures/videos from the original location after copying, delete them. See Deleting pictures and videos during review, page 13. Tags that you applied for print, email, and favorites are not copied. Protection settings are not copied. See Protecting pictures and videos from deletion, page 13

Camera will not allow me to "copy" photos to transfer from internal memory to SD card?

You may be able to connect the camera to a computer and access the picture files that way. Also make sure the SD card isn't close to full.

MY CAMERA IS A Z650 KODAK EASYSHARE, MY DAUGHTER LOST MY OLD MEMORY CARD SO I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A NEW MEMORY CARD BUT MY CAMERA SAYS IT NEEDS FORMATTING AND IT WONT LET ME ALSO IT SAYS INTERNAL MEMORY IS...

Just as I suggested. The Z650 works with SD cards, not SDHC cards. Most likely your old card was 2GB or smaller and your new card is 4GB or larger. Try using a 2GB SD card.
You can clear internal memory by deleting the pictures it contains. Download them to your computer first if you want to preserve them. You can get rid of all of them in one shot by using the "Format" command in the Setup menu.

Took some photos without memory card. The photos are in the camera's memory, how can I transfer those photos into a memory card?

There are some solutions, but the most easy one is:

1. Take the SD card out of the camera and connect it to the pc to transfer the images. After that, put the SD card back into the camera.

2. There is a menu option in the SP800uz to change the memory to Intern, Extern (SD) and Auto (default). Change it temporary to Intern, connect the camera to the PC and transfer the images. Set the setting back to Auto (or else) afterwards.

The pictures are in the internal memory? If so you need to purchase a memory card for that camera and transfer the internal memory pictures to the memory card and then you will be able to download them to the computer. Your camera takes a SD or a SDHC memory card make sure it's unlocked and formatted to the camera the instructions for formatting are in your manual
Here is a diagram to makes sure the switch on the SD card is in the unlock position

From the manual:

Installing SD Memory Card

Your camera has a memory card slot that enables you to insert any "SD" compatible memory card up to 8BG. Adding a memory card will allow you to increase the capacity of your camera before you have to transfer photos and videos to your PC. Install the SD memory card as below:

  1. Locate the Memory Card slot within the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the Memory card into the slot in the correct direction. (see the sketch below)
7
  1. Push the card in until you feel it "click" into position. The top of the card should be flushed with the surface of the camera. An icon will appear on the LCD screen after you turn on your camera.
  2. Once the external memory card is inserted into the camera all the images taken with the camera will be stored on the card.

Note:

  1. Limited internal memory is provided for test images. The image will be deleted when camera power is turned off. Please download the images before power off .SD memory card is required for normal use.
  2. An external memory card is required for normal use. Your camera supports any compatible SD memory card (up to 8GB).
  3. If there is a photo in the internal memory when you insert the card into your camera, a "Copy to card" message will appear on the LCD with Yes or No options. On selecting 'Yes' the photo will now be copied to your card.
  4. Formatting will delete all data on the SD memory card including protected data.
8
  1. Don't remove the SD card during formatting as this may damage the card and render it unusable.
  2. When your card is full, download the media on the SD card to your PC and delete the photos and videos from it in order to continue using your

Do you have pics on the internal memory? You must format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, format the card.

Memory card saying "full" when its not

Your problem is that you are using an incompatible type of memory card.

Your camera was designed to use SD cards with a maximum capacity of 2GB. It cannot use larger capacity models, and is also incompatible with the later SDHC cards.

SDHC cards are the same shape and will fit your camera, but have differences beneath the skin and so won't work properly in your camera. Without any memory card in place your camera uses internal memory; it's then only by lucky chance that your camera has sufficient SDHC compatibility to allow you to transfer the internal memory image to the SDHC card when you subsequently insert it into your camera.

Your only solutions are to either use an SD card with a maximum capacity of 2GB or to replace the camera with a later model which is fully SDHC compliant.
