Where and how do I feed a power cable from my car battery to my boot for my amp. I have a vauxhall vectra gls 1996. I've done it on other cars but can't find a way on the vectra. Can someone help?

You may have to drill a hole in your fire wall, and install a little rubber gromit so it doesn't leak, I would analize your engine bay, and firewall to find the best rout, make sure you do not damage any hoses or wiring. Pop floor panels and run underneath all the way back to your amp, if you run an ought gauge like I do, it may not fit under floor panels. So I wire loomed and secured with zip ties as tucked as possible. Good luck *c*

I have a pyle 1000w 2 channel amp.just got it last week. last night driving home, stops working. protection light stays on. when i checked it, it was hot. so im assuming the thermal protection kicked on....

keep it in a vented area dont ever cover it position it were nothing will block it.it sounds like it does not have a fan so they sell those fans that you sit your laptop on.they cost about 10 bucks and wire it to your amp remote and ground inputs and it should help it stay cool....

I have a 1995 chevy blazer and im trying to connect a car audio system but i'm having trouble finding good ground.I need assistant in finding

Hello stevenavila1,

Any bare metal on the vehicle is a "ground". If you are unable to locate an existing screw or bolt that goes directly into the frame or chassis, you can drill a small hole through the metal and use a self-tapping metal screw. Use sandpaper to remove any paint and primer down to bare metal before tightening the screw. It's also best to use a ring terminal or spade terminal on the wire.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

The factory amp is installed in a floor cavity underneath the seat.

Try this site for some pics of what it looks like:

How do i replace front door speakers on my vauxhall astra, K, registration model

Thats a complex situation.
You have to disconnect and remove all the power window and lock devices.
Leave your window up so it doesn't block the speaker.
Once you remove and disconnect the power devices, they should pop out of the door panel, remove the panel gently and watch for any plastic threaded button type pieces. They fit into grooves in the panel and butterfly into the drilled holes in the door frame itself.
Remove and replace the speaker.
Reverse the removal process for the reinstall of the panel and power options.

What is the REM (remote I assume). The second hot wire other than the red is usually yellow. Is your REM wire yellow. Also, don't forget to put a fuse in the "positive" side of the circuit. Keever

Wireing instructions

on the amp there shud b a white and red plug hole this is for the audio cables out of the back of your stereo. there should also be a L with a + & - and a R with a + & - these go to the left an right speakers. if for a sub you do + from one side and - from the other. There should also be a part one for the earth, the other for a cable to run out of the back of the stereo to the amp this is blue cable used and then there shud be a power cable running off the battery with a inline fuse.
hope this was of sum help get back to me if u need mre

Did u meant no phono out put.
If so then the high output from the speaker should be used.
But you will need a signal Reducer.
