After taking one photo, camera display blinks and can't turn off or take more pics
I turn on my camera, take a photo. No problem. But then the red battery light flashes and the top display blinks and flashes and I can't take any more photos, or access anything else. Even when I turn off the camera, the red light down the bottom is still flashing.

That is not enough information. In general when you take a TIMER photo... Say you select I want to take a photo after 10 seconds. When you press the shutter and LED may blink during the 10 seconds. The rate of blinking changes right before it takes a photo..
HI there check the battery first. Red light blinking in working mode when the battery not having enough power for flashing. So i suggest you charged the battery fully or if its old then replaced it. Thnaks.
i try to turn the camera...but it seems that hangup,,,,the lights green it blinks blinks,,,,and theres a circle on scren.....i have lotsof pic there that is very important for school...was it gone?waht can i do so that my pic wont lost?pls help..
To take photos with red eye reduction requires your flash to firerapidly before snapping the pic. Make sure camera is in record mode pres the 4 way switch with the lightning sign on it. The flash modes will pop up. select red eye flash.
To fix red-eye after a photo is taken. Bring up the photo in playback mode and press menu button. Red eye reduction should be available as one of the menu items. Otherwise, display the pic, press OK button in center and if you like the fixed picture then select yes to store it.
Copy the existing photos on to your PC, switch off the camera. Remove the SD card and format the SD-card using a SD-card reader, this will clear all the card contents. Now try using it in your Camera again. Ideally, you should be able to save photos on this SD card. Other way would be to insert another SD card into your camera and click photos and check whether those photos are being saved into the SD card(this can be done using display option in your digicam.)
This maybe a solution. I had the same issue just now. Pulled battery, put back in, placed on dock, and still blinking red. So I removed the camera from the dock, pulled battery, put same old battery back in, placed on the dock and turned the mode switch on right away before it started blinkin red. It seems to be charging now with one bar and has not gone blinking red for 15 minutes.
I was outside with the camera in 10 degree weather taking pics of my dogs but had been inside for 20 minutes before placing it on the doc. I think something may have happened with the charging circuit and turning it on right away with it on the doc may have reset the charging. Try it. Hope it works for you.
This often indicates a card error. Transfer all your images then format the card in the camera.
If you still have the problem, try a different card.
If you still have the problem then looks like you will have to send it in for repair.
