Question about Car Audio & Video
SOURCE: i changed the car battery
Is it a factory stereo system? If so you need to take photo ID, registration, and title to your car to the dealership. They'll use that info to look up the code for your stereo based on the VIN number of the vehicle. Make sure they give it to you written down and don't just enter it, so if you lose power again, you won't have to go back. This matters, because they can charge up to an hour's labor to do this for you.

i was playing around with one of those code generators just the other day and after some messing around it turned out the code to enter was the last four digits of the number below the barcode; if there are 2 barcodes, use the bottom one

to enter your code when the cd player displays error leave cd player switched on and after 20 mins or so i will display 0000 then you will be able to enter your code this happens when some 1 has entered the wrong code

Oh I had the exact same problem. I have the same year and the code was a 5 or 6 digit number that i found under the circuit box cover in the engine.
