Thanks for answering my question earlier, I just realized I had the wrong printer model in the product description/pic -- not the HP C8180. Anyway, I tried playing around with the paper settings as you suggested, but again to no avail. It keeps reading the clear label paper as glossy, and it tells me I have the paper on the wrong side. Also, for some reason I didn't see any separate settings for envelopes or labels, so i have no idea which option to choose for paper type.
