I have tried alignment on My Hp 3210 but it keeps coming up failed, any Ideas on how to fix the problem

I've tried all the help on the HP website and my printer still won't align. It will spit out 2 blank pages and then say error aligning. It will still print, but if I print anything with lines on it, you can tell it is out of alignment. I've tried different paper and reseating all the ink cartridges and nothing has provided a successful alignment.

my 3210 wont align. I have tried differtnt paper but it still doesnt. however it still does print.

When this printer first came out, I got all excited and bought one, within six months I had it on the shelf, and went back to my HP2610, which I am still using. I personally think that this is the Edsel of HP printers.
