An Ethernet adapter is a network card adapter that allows you to connect another computer that also has an Ethernet adapter using a network cable to transfer files and allow remote access to the second computer. It is also used to plug in from a cable modem to allow you Internet access through you provider. You might already have one built in to your computer. Look for a small connector that resembles a telephone connector but it is a little bit bigger in size which is typically located on the back of the computer. Hope this helps.

Maplins sell an adapter that has multi-voltage settings and a whole array of connectors, I'm sure they have what you require. Check online, they have a questions part too that is usually very helpful. Find an adapter on the site and you can ask a ? about it... and get an answer too ! .... Good luck... Red.

Automatic updates/ network adaptor goes missing / magically returns after system restore

Where is the Network Adapter originating from? Windows? If the Update is a Windows update, Hide the update. It may be an error, it's happen to me on a HP Network Adapter, When I installed it the Ethernet Adapter would not work, I rolled-back the driver on the Ethernet Adapter and it worked perfectly. I "Hide" the Windows update in Windows Updates.

I can't get it to charge

This is typically caused by one of two issues:
  1. (Most likely) The battery has failed and needs to be replaced. If the battery is older than a year and seen heavy use or been plugged in to the charger for long periods of time, this is likely the problem. Verify that the power adaptor is not bad (below) and purchase a new battery from a local retailer or online.
  2. The power adaptor is bad. Plug in your power adaptor and verify that the power LED is lit. If it is not, then it is bad and will need to be replaced or alternately, you can purchase an inexpensive external battery charger. They are available online or often from your local retailer.
A couple good sources for batteries/chargers:

Hope this helps.

My DS keeps freezing when I play my DS games can you help me?

Is this when you use a flash card adaptor or when you use normal ds cardridges?
Be clear on what you are exactly doing and using.

When you're using a flash card adaptor, update the firmware on the flash card.

If it's the ds it self that is failing, contact Nintendo and tell them exactly what you are doing and how long it takes the DS to crash.
Note use original nintendo cardridges and
don't tell them when your using a flash card adaptor, they then won't help you because it's
then your own fault and they can take actions
on you because you'r then using iligal software!

200MBPS Advent powerline adaptors dropping connection

It is normally reccommended that the adaptor goes straight into the socket so check the faulty one to see if it does rather than being plugged into a power strip.

Hope this helps
