Depending on your ablilities there might be a quick fix. It sounds like the contacts in your on/off switch are either corroded or worn out due to heat. Ensure the unit is unplugged from any electrical source. By opening up the unit you will have to detach the on/off switch, and by bending the prongs carefully, open the casing up. Clean all internal part using contact cleaner. If the contacts are worn or corroded, you can try replacing or what I did was added some solder to the contacts and put the unit back together reversing my steps.

Good Luck.

That issue is quite common with all audio receivers. It was a recurring issue with several of them that I owned in the past. I tried to fix one in the past, but its just not possible. I suggest taking it to a repair shop or calling Harman Kardon. Your warranty should definitely cover it.

...Simply cleaning the pins to the switch won't work. Its an issue within the circuitry.

Place the receiver on Standby mode so that the Power Indicator turns amber. Press and hold the front-panel Tun mode Button for at least 5 seconds until the receiver goes on and a reset message appears in the display.

I need the whole printed circuit board of the power transistors for my AVR 200 Harman Kardon receiver ? Any available ?

Not unless you can find them second-hand somewhere. Harman-Kardon doesn't supply boards as replacement parts.

My harman kardon avr 120 powers off by itself in about 2-3 seconds, i press the power button again and goes off again in the same amount of time, what can i do about it?

Hi,
What we are doing, in this case is looking for a shorted out speaker system, or wiring to speakers, or cables or components that are connected to the receiver that have a short circuit. This is what I would do if I were called to your house to debug your sound system.
Follow this procedure and see what happens:

Disconnect one set of speakers at the back of the receiver and turn the power button on again. See if it stays on.
If not, remove the next speaker and keep repeating the test.
If it still stays off, disconnect all of the equipment connected to the unit, one piece at at time.
Somewhere along the line, the receiver may not shut down. If that is the case
identify the the offending cable(or component)and replace or service it.
I hope this solves it for you. If not your receiver will need professional servicing,
Best Regards,
Mark

Harman Kardon AVR 120 turns off by itself after normal work for about 1 min

Do you get an indication on the display where the point of failure might be? It would show up on the LCD speaker diagrams just before shutting off.

Amplifier/receiver switches off systematically after a few second of use

Sounds like a bad output channel is causing it to go into protect mode. Time to see a repair tech.

5 amp "slow blow" fuse where power cord connects to amplifier has probably blown. 9 screws holds the cover on, remove them and check fuse.

Receiver shuts down and will not turn back on untill you unplug and plug back in

Nope. sorry to burst your bubble but your problem is pretty common on this unit. Its bad capacitors in the power supply and probably not worth repairing in a repair shop. since this is a solid state reciver, there are no user replaceable parts inside.
