Hi.  I had a similar problem but only the down volume buttonw worked (which meant that my volume was at 1 but I couldn't get it to go any higher).  If you are able to use one of the volume buttons, press it once to take you to the voulme control screen; then use the centre button to conrol up and down using left and right.

Try having its casing changed. If you attempt to remove the volume button and poke the inner button to adjust the volume using a needle, it could work but would most likely cause damage and make things worse.
