Question about Whirlpool Microwave Ovens
The controller for the turntable is shorted out or welded its contact if its a relay. the door has safety switches that turns off the electrical connection to the turntable and magnetron once you open the door. you can trace the switch that runs the turntable. start from the power supply, goes to the door switch then to the controller before it goes to the turntable motor. i'm sure it has an electrical diagram at the inner wall of the cover.
