My daughters laptop just suddenly quit working & will not come back on.
we've tried a new battery .... no luck

- My laptop also went kaput. It doesn't boot up. All lights are on and you can hear the fan. Nothing happens. I tried everything suggested by them on the website. Doesn't help. Googled. Found that many folks have the same problem happenning at around the same time viz., just after the warranty expired. Called hp customer service was adviced to buy a new one.- bisaproNov 25, 2008
