Question about Intel (RK80532PG0881M) Pentium 4, 3 GHz Processor
Sorry to bother you......I'm trying to connect my PC to the internet. I had to re-install Windows XP Pro, because of a virus /trojan horse/worm problem. The modem is a Gateway, 2WIRE, Model #2701HG-B or RG2701HG-00 ....everybody wants me to download websites and sign up for memberships......I'm not even on my own computer........because I can't get online on the computer that the drivers are for.....what else..My roommate lost the original disks for the ...OH!...It's ATT ...the phone company that we're usng...but it's a gateway, 2wire modem......ok. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. Mark
If you have installed new os, most probably XP can detect the modem, all you got to so is got to modem in your control panel and have a look if its there.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
