I can download free audiobooks to my macbook pro, how do i transfer them to my sandisk sana clip

Connect the supplied USB cable from your player to the USB port on your MAC. The MAC will detect this player and your can then copy the audiobooks from the MAC to the Scandisk.
If the Scandisk cannot play the audiobooks then they are in the wrong file format. Then they need to be converted to the file format that the Scandisk uses.

Mp3 file not supported

Hi R Shulman
Make sure your MP3 files are MP3 files and not WMA or someother type of files because they will not work on your player.
Here are your drivers and other associated downloads

Hello,

If your adding music to the device and its not playing, its because your audio files are not the correct format. This unit only plays MP3 audio or Uncopyrighted Windows Media Audio files. You can test this by connecting the MP3 player, copy one of the sampe audio files under 'My Music' location on your computer and paste it on your mp3 player. It will play the audio fine.

How to play: Hold in play button until red ligh is steady, then press Play again to start the audio.

Make sure you remove any audio file that is not the correct format.

to check format of song:

right click the song, go to properties, under properties it will say 'Type of File', make sure this says MP3, thats the safest way to go.

Downloading video

Use the video conversion software utility included on the Installation CD to create video files that
are suitable for playback on the MP-C7052.
Your player supports AMV files with the following specifications:
160 x 128 resolution at 15 frames per second (fps)

The video conversion software will not recognize ALL types of video files, so you will have to find a free converter that will convert files of one type to AVI or another recognized video type.

Look at the help files in the video converter software for far more detail than we could ever hope to provide here.

Your batteries may be dead, the coil that it (the battery) attaches to sometimes gets bent out of the way, so try turning that back.
