B&k avr-307 7.1 receiver

The left and right channels on the B&K will not work, all the rest are fine.Could it be the fuses ?If so,How can I determine which ones ?They seem to have a spring-load design.Thanks.

SOURCE: Headphones only have left channel on Denon AVR-588 Receiver

Hi peroty,

Two suggestions for you.

1. If you look at the headphone jack connecton do you see one or two black O-rings or black lines on the jack. If you only see one they are Mono headphones and you would only get sound out of the left side. If there are two black lines they are stereo headphones and you should get sound on both the left & right sides.

2. If after checking the headphone jack connection and there are two black lines on it then I would suggest try a different pair of headphones to see if a different set of headphones works fine.

If a different pair of headphones works properly the original headphones may be bad. If neither set of headphones work properly it may be the reciever that may need to be repaired.

I hope it's not the receiver, but let me know if you have questions.

anything that works well is always worth investigating for a repair
it could be a simple fuse for that side amplifier, loose , broken speaker wire
have it checked out and then decide if it is worth repairing

Sounds like a possible amp problem. Probably needs to go in for repairs.

There is no sound from left speaker

The audio output stage on the left channel has failed or blown a fuse. Check the speaker wires carefully, if okay! I recommend a pro to examine the receiver.

I have a Harman/Kardon AVR 325. Left speaker not working with TV

How is TV audio (from the cable box) getting into the Receiver? If digitally, you wouldn't be missing any one channel on a connection malfunction, you'd lose them all. If analog, swap the channels around to isolate the problem (and reconsider using digital).

The left channel on my denon avr-1507 no longer works. The speaker tests out fine. Is there a fuse that can be swapped for this or some other easy fix?

there are no speakers fuses on this model it only shows relays so your probable couse is your left channel went bad specially if you like to play it loud and for long periods of time ( I recomend that you have it repaired by a profesional ) good lock ,, I have the service manual in case you need it

Left channel not working

The first thing I would check has already been done, the only other thing would be fuses. I am preety sure there is a protection fuse at ever channels output to protect against a dead short. I am sure you have already fixed this problem but I thought I would give it a try. Let me know what you found.

First, check your balance control and make sure that it is centered. Next, you might have anything from a bad output relay or fuse to a bad driver/component...accordianman
