Back in 2004 i bought a mobile phone sharp TM100 and it wasnt working coz of the charger so now bought a new battery off ebay -the baterry is working .i want to transfer my lovely old photos from it . my packard easynote model MIT-DRAG-A has a wireless port and i can see infrared too. my phone has infrared too and not bluetooth.i know if i can put the infrared on ,on both gadget i can transfer my photos. so how do i switch the infrared on the laptop??????, i am usually good with these things lol pls help me out. regards

hi buddy i had the same issue two years back, even i did the same thing , i bought a new battery. but the actual problem is with the charger. the actual voltage wasnt there to make the battery to hold the charge, i got a new charger fraom service center, and the problem ends ther. hope ur issue will be solved. try to charge ur phone through usb cable.

If your phone was bought in the last 6 months you can go to nokia care center and demand for a new battery and charger or repair the existing ones provided you have the warranty card.You should get it done for free of cost.If 6 months exceeded then

Did u try another charger of the same mobile company,if yes ,and it works ,the problem is with your charger.You can either buy a new charger or get an all battery charger ,a china piece that recharges all batteries of any mobile company.You can get it below 2$ .
If your battery doesn't charge even with other charger of the same company then the problem is with your battery.If you are a nokia user ,here is the price list of all nokia batteries.

My Nokia 6085 which I bought two years ago recently started by failing to charge fully despite change of chargers and change of baterries. Sounds like it could be the charging port, or maybe the cord itself. You could do one of two things for your first move. Go buy a new cord from T-Mobile, I say this because I bought an MP3 player off ebay, and the cord didnt work when it got here, and instead of sending it all the way back to where it came from, and paying shipping charges on that not to mention the waiting for it to get here, I went and bought a new cord, and it worked fine. Your second option is to just contact the seller, tell them it doesnt work, and go through the hassle of having to send it back, and wait for a new one. The choice is really up to you. If you want to make sure it is the cord first, you could take it to T-Mobile and have them test it. Then go from there. Good luck.

if you insurance on your phone I recommend using it, I had a MDA for a couple years and had about every problem in the book, but not that one. It sounds like you've done everything possible, the only other thing i could think of is a hard-reset. Anything beyond that would tinkering with the internal hardware.

I think you can get a MDA pretty cheap on ebay these days

You need a new battery. That battery goes dead maybe its a factory defect its very rare this to happen but try to contact the Company to ask if you have a warranty for this unit. One more thing make sure that your charger is functioning.
