    I dropped my Canon PowerShot SD750 and it worked for about a week. Then I stopped using it for about 4 days. When I went to turn on my camera it wouldn't turn on at all even though the battery was fully charged. When I put the battery back in it's charger it turned red. I don't understand. I had just taken off the battery and the light was green meaning that it was fully charged. Please help.

I have a cannon ixus 75 can i charge it from a laptop

Probably not, USB does not provide enough current to charge this type of battery, ergo Canon does not support USB charging. You can buy a third party charger and battery set for not very much and keep this camera working.

I have a cannon sureshot it won't turn on i charged the battery and put it back in model number sd750

Unfortunately the no-power problem within the Canon SD750 line is quite common. The good news is: It can be repaired! Just check that link out which leads to a repair service that should be able to take care of you.

The no-power issue is resolved by just replacing the main PCB (printed circuit board) inside the camera.

I just dropped my Canon SD750 and now it won't turn on. Is there a reset button?....or am I out of luck?

I had a Cannon EasyShare CX7000 many years ago, had the same problem exactly, Canon cameras are not that durable when it comes to dropping it, but I have a Cannon Powershot SD1000 and I have dropped it numerous times and it still functions like it's new. three words REPLACE YOUR CAMERA. oh, and there is no reset button, you are out of luck

Camera will not turn on. Battery fully charged;

Hello,
You can give it to an expert for repair, he can repair it for less as there must be just a fuse problem, which can be fixed for a very less amount.

The lens cover is not really needed, but you can replace it yourself if you can find that other part. If you can't find it, just remove the lens cover entirely and just be careful with your lens. Here's an example:

Here are some simple things to try first for a camera that won't power on. They won't work for every case, but they're worth a try:

Sounds like you have a defective motherboard, because it wasn't dropped, it is not usually a lens issue. This is a camera repair place, they specialize on small cameras like casio exilims. I've had a Canon sd750 fixed with them for the exact same problem. The website is : camera repair nyc
