Question about HP PSC 750 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Leaking Ink Our printer has always worked great until we started finding gobs of ink underneath it. All black. Can this be fixed easily enough or is it now another throw away. We have always loved this printer and we'd like to get it fixed.

Buying a new black cartridge will NOT fix the problem. I know because I've been dealing with this issue with my Dell 962 All-in-One Photo printer. Dell offers no clues how to fix the problem. I've run thru many cartridges. It isn't the cartridges, it's an internal problem with the printer but I have no idea how to open the printer or what to look at and how to fix it.

I have put the black cartridge into the machine HP56, along with a colour one, 22. But the message comes up that I have a cartridge error. Can you explain please. Thanks

You may have a gob of ink at the bottom of the ink cartridge. remove each cartridge

and check it, to see if the ink is clumping up. also check the slot where the cartridges

are inserted, if the slot has gobs of ink, you will have to turn power to your printer off.

get some alcohol preferably denatured, you can purchase it at your local pharmacy,

with q-tips swab the area where the cartridges are inserted and make sure the area

is clean. if the bottom of the cartridges have to much ink, get a paper towel, wet it

with the denatured alcohol, then proceed to press each cartridge until the bottom is

clean. do not rub across the bottom of the cartridge as it is very delecate. once it is clean set the cartridge aside and let dry for 10 minutes. once every

thing is dry re-insert your cartridges, turn on your printer and run a clean

and alignment check, this should return your printer back to normal

and remove the error. I have an hp 6310, and I use this proceedure to cure the

problem. good luck!

Hi There,

I believe that the printer head which feeds the ink dried out and clogged at the ink dispersal point. I'd suggest you take it to your nearest printer service capable repair center and just have them unblick the clog.

I just put in a new black ink cartridge and it will not print black ink. The color ink prints, but the black will not.

Hello nicfurtaw, there are dried ink on the ink carousel, or cradle, you may need to soften the ink. Use cotton buds, dip into warm water and gently wipe the ink hole where the ink pass through, until the carousel is clean.
  1. remove the black ink cartridge
  2. find the spot where the ink pass through
  3. see dried ink on it.
  4. use cotton buds dipped in warm water to soften the ink.
  5. do this several times
  6. clean enough, test to see if the black ink will pass through
  7. replace the black ink cartridge
  8. test the printer.

My CLP-350 Samsung printer only prints black ink on half the page! While the other colours all print perfectly, the black ink prints strong and clear on the right side of the page but as you approach the...

Here is my solution, hope it will solve your problem.

From your post, I believe your CLP-350N printer has enough black toner. The black cartridge is on the far right side of the printer, so the black toner is harder to go to left side of the roller than right side. Everytime we start the printer, it will move some toner of each color to the roller before it shows ready to print.

Because we always use B&W printing when we start the printer, but less Color printing. The result is there are always enough toner on the 3 color rollers, but the black toner is lean on the black roller. When this gets worse, the left side of the black roller may hardly get any toner at all -- so it only print black on the right side fo paper.

Step by step solution
(CAUTION: Never loss balance while tilting printer! You may drop and damage your printer! Hold the printer firmly all the time! Ask someone to help you if needed!)

Here, front of the printer is where you can access the cartridge, back of the printer is where you connect the power cord and USB cable, left is your left, right is your right.

1.Lift the front to keep the printer tilt to its back at about 45 degree
2.Power on printer while it's tilted back, wait untill green light is on
3.Open the front door, red light will be on, then close the door, printer will start up again, wait untill green light is on
4.Repeat step 3 once again, then put the printer back to level position
5.Lift the right to keep the printer tilt to its left at about 45 degree
6.Open the front door, red light will be on, then close the door, printer will start up again, wait untill green light is on
7.Repeat step 6 once again, then put the printer back to level position
8.Print some test page to see if there is any improvement of black print quality.(Hold the printer button for 3-5 seconds, it will print the test page.)

You may try several times and print several pages each time before you finally cure the problem.

Good luck! And do it safely!

Black and white not printing correctly, color is fine

If you are not using Epson ink, your printer will do this. Epson printers hate knock-off ink. Always use Epson ink if you want to keep your printer working properly. To solve the problem you are having, try cleaning the ink tubes. Make sure you re-install them properly. Hope this helps. Charlene

Leaking Black Colour

REPLACE THE PRINTER AND SAVE YOURSELF A HUGE MESS

Understand when I suggest replacing the printer, it isn't that you can't fix it or that I'm not answering your question. But to do so will require cleaning every inch of the internal components. The ink will stain everything it touches and you'll need a smock, a work area, and probably gloves.

See what happens is that where the print head parks there is an ink absorber and below it is an ink well. The ink absorber is a sponge like arm that cleans off the cartridge and the well catches the loose ink. Inkjet printers are for the most part not designed to last past a few years, so few printers have a method for emptying these. When they become full the printer will start leaking ink in torrents but will continue to function normally for quite a while until it fills every nook and cranny of the printer. While all you notice is a sightly higher consumption of ink.

By the time you start visibly seeing the ink come out of the printer, the inside is a huge mess, and when I say huge I mean without cursing, words just can't express how nasty and ink smeared it is.

Leaking black ink on printed pages

Hi, please attempt to run a numerous blank paper through the printer. This will dry or clean any ink found on the rollers.
Continue to run blank pages through the printer until no more ink is found on the paper, then attempt printing. If ink stains or streaks are still present, the printer may need service.
