Here is the link to the Lexmark Support Site for the Z23. They do not provide drivers for Windows 98 or Windows Vista.

My printer Lexmark z23 , I am unable to install it with vista O S .

check if you have the 32 bit vista or a 64 bit vista os.
if you have the 64 bit vista on the computer try to install a 64 bit vista compatible printer driver to make it work.

LEXMARK PRINTER HAS NO DRIVER WITH NEW COMPUTER WITH VISTA

Check with Lexmark at their website at www.lexmark.com - If no drivers available for your windows vista, ask to customer service how you can resolve that issue.

Will a lexmark 5000 work on a windows 98 pentium 2. If so do i need another driver?

yes it does. and you need the drive from the lexmark site.
go here and type your printer model (5000) select the color printer.
A new page will come up. Select the Windows you have (Windows 98).
Click download. When it finishes, open the file in the Windows 98 computer and install. it will tell you when to plug your printer in the port.

Lexmark Z23

If the box says that you can use it on Windows 98 then the required driver should be on the CD that came with the printer.

There was not a Windows 98 driver listed on the Z23 support page.

I have a Lexmark X63 printer, but it is not listed as one of the printers that is compatible with my Acer computer.

Does the computer have Windows Vista on it?

If so, that is correct. Lexmark does not have a Vista driver for the X63.

However, many people with Lexmarks (and other non-Vista supported models) have had success using Windows 2000 drivers on computers with Vista installed.

If you have Windows XP installed, or if you have Vista and want to try the Windows 2000 driver, they can both be downloaded here, directly from Lexmark:

Be sure to UNPLUG the printer from the PC before installing the software. ONLY plug it in once the on-screen instructions tell you to do so.
