Problem with Rival SCVS600 6-Quart Slow Cooker
Our Rival Crockpot model # is SCVS601, type SC43. The lid hinge broke off the glass lid by breaking the plactic away at the base (end) of the screw. Can we buy just the hinge? Advise me how to fix. My wife loves the crockpot and features of it.

I ordered a set of 2 handles from Goodman's http://www.goodmans.net/item.asp?sc=taf&k=fz%2D581&n=fz%2D581&d=649 Fits All part #581. The total with shipping is $6.91. Hopefully it will work.

The handle just broke off of my lid too & I found this site - http://buyitnow64.stores.yahoo.net/ricrlidhakns.html 2 handles for $5. I haven't ordered them yet, so I don't know what they will charge for s/h.

lancerich396 I contacted the manufacturer via email to get a new plastic hinge and they immediately sent out a replacement hinge for free..... with a new glass lid attached the hinge. :) You don't need goodmans.net, just go to the manufacturer.
