2 way's one way is to turn off computer all together then hook up hd and reboot drivers will be found either in system or in window's updates second method is to go to the manufacturers web site that made your hd and go to the support page there you can download driver software which you can install into your computer then it will be recognized and after that if there were any updates from that point on windows update will update it .

I connected a speaker bar directly to my new LG TV. The speakers came with two audio cables ( red & white) and one video cable (yellow). I connected the red & white cables to both devices - red...

You can only get the television to recognize the external audio when connecting to its audio OUTPUT. If it does not say OUTPUT on the television where you've connected the red and white cables between it and the spear bar it is not going to work. You'll have to connect all your devices to the speaker bar with red and white cables and to the television with a yellow or green, blue, and red cable for video.

Device will not operate. computer says it is not connected.

Hi,
First check to see if the computer is even recognizing it at all, if not then you should search on google or online for the correct drivers for the receiver. If this is a surround sound system then it might need a special connection like mine did. Receivers use digital sound and require a optical connection or coaxial connection so check up on that too!

How do I put songs on my mp3 player

Are you attempting to do this with your computer?? You need the sync cable to connect your player to your computer. You also need to use a program like itunes or windows media player. If your computer recognizes your device, it will install the drivers automatically. You then drag and drop files ousing the programs I mentioned earlier
