Question about Frigidaire FGQ332ES Gas Dryer
My Frigidaire Gas Dryer quit. When the start switch is turned a sound like a jammed buzz comes from the motor and then a thunk from the circuit board. I would assume the motor is the problem but when the timer is turned to say 30 minutes I believe it used to turn on its own whether the dryer was on or not ( am I right?). Now it dosn't turn at all. I have pulled the motor but do not know how to test it. There are 2 circuits - Start - red and black wires and Run - tan and yellow/brown. I could hook it to 110v but I'm not sure which is the neutral and which of the colors to hook up for it to run..... and then am I right about the timer? Perplexed
Use a isolated transformer and just hook up the wires that you think are positive and negative. isolated transformer is so that you do not get killed by a shock
