My phone fell in water and I immediately removed the battery and placed both the phone and battery in a deep bowl and covered everything with rice including rice underneath the phone and by the next day it worked fine and I had no problems since them. I'm not sure if this will work for you as your incident happened a month ago but it is worth a try.

I have the Alcatel one touch and I set it down on a table that had liquid but I didn't know...that was about a month ago and it still doesn't work. Anything I can do?

If you can open the phone with a small screw driver it will good. Put it in the sunlight and then try. If you are unable to open get it done with a technician.

My Samsung SGH-A797 won't turn on and I'm not sure why.

Look for a liquid contact indicator under the battery usually pink or orange if tripped. Usually looks like a white dot. If it won't come on at all and when plugged into the charger it's highly probable that it got wet at some point. A small amount of water can do a big amount of damage. 11_17_2013_9_56_57_pm.png

Hi dear! liquid or water is the number 1 enemy of any electronic devices such as cellular phone, maybe some the cellphone technician can repair it but it won't last long, another all samsung service center will not accept for repair of any wet board nor wet cellular phones.....

My cell phone was put into the washer a couple of moths ago?

Once they get wet and sit for a long time, it's not usually worth the time and money to repair them. It's a miracle that it still works at all with that amount of submersion. Good luck!

My Nokia 6500c battery is on empty and won't take a charge

are you sure that the charger you are using is good & working?if you are sure that it is working, what is the response of the celphone display when you take a charge, doest it appear not charging?or no response at all?..if it doesnt respond and your charger is working, then the problem is on your celphone charging regulator. But,when it is responding when you take a charge but it does not store too much in your batery, then the problem is 100% on your batery, and you need to replace it for a new one.

I got my Palm Centro wet. I took the screws out

do not put your phone in ANY liquid, even rubbing alcohol! any liquid puts your phone at risk of corrosion in places you cannot see. even if it works fine now, that is no guarantee that there is not still small amounts of moisture inside that may still cause damage later. take your phone apart, put all the pieces of your phone in a ziploc bag of uncooked rice, and LEAVE IT IN THERE for at least 24 hours. having the battery in at all when there may be moisture inside puts your phone at risk for more damage. save yourself trouble later by leaving it alone in the rice for as long as you can. two days would be better.

Samsung G600 - phone asks for sim card but doesnt work when inser

when phones get wet they start to rust from the inside, unfourtunaly this is a long prosses and can take a few months but usually if the phone has got very wet they will not work propley again. they may work temperally but eventually it will probably be completly usless. in future if u wet a phone try drying it immediatly with a hairdryer, inside the battery bit too, this may help the water inside the phone not to cause rusting. sorry about your phone.

i brought my phone into verizon and they cleaned the charging terminal and it has worked fine ever since. My phone was accidentally dropped into water. if they tell you it can not be fixed use a small brush to gently clean the terminals on the bottom of your phone.

The first thing to do is remove the battery for about two minutes, then put it back in and try it, most likely it will work just like new! If not does the phone have any history of liquid damage? Even a small amount of water, juice, pop, beer etc., can damage a cell phone however if you gently dry it out with the battery removed and without charging it by placing it about ten inches above a baseboard heater for a day or two, with it folded open, like you were on a call, it can often solve the problem. Good luck!
