Question about Dell Latitude D505 Notebook
When I push the button to turn on the unit, I have to push it real hard or it won't go on.
Take off the plastic strip with the power button on it. It will pull up on the right side and snap up and off. Then try starting it by pushing the power button on the board. If you have to press this button hard then it's worn out and will have to be replaced. If you don't have to press hard then the power button in the plastic strip is worn and misaligned and the plastic strip needs to be replaced.
