Insert a straightened paper clip into a tiny hole that is located on the front of the drive, typically right next to the eject switch. Once you've inserted the clip, the stuck CD should be easily ejected.

Password bios lenovo y510

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your Lenovo laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper and I wouldn't recommend doing it especially if it's under warranty.

Hi satyadevbujj,

Based on concern, Y510 camera driver for Windows 7 is not yet released based on Lenovo's support download site. Hence, you still can try updating the camera using the windows vista camera driver. Just go to this link.

--> after downloading, install the driver then restart your computer.

NOT ABLE TO BURN THE C.D & D.V.D

Y510 uses the slot loading DVD, right? It's not software problem... that Matsushita DVD drive on Y510 and Y410 are faulty... they work only for a few months then always have trouble burning. I've seen many complaints on Lenovo support forum... I'm having the same problem with my Y410 too... I had to use USB to install Windows 7.

I hav lenovo y510...my cd drive is stuck..i inserted a cd and now its not comming out...i restarted it but but still not comming out..please help urgent

On most CD-DVD players you got a small hole to eject the disk when the rubber band is destroyed or not functioning.

Try to straighten a paper clip and insert it into the hole, about 2.5cm (1"), then it should release the tray so you can remove you CD.
