Question about Computers & Internet
I just bought this computer yesterday and it is not reading any disc but I can hear it spinning and trying to read the disc. If I have to I will just buy new dvd rom since their cheap.
No need to be hasty. Need to eliminate issues one by one. Is the pc brand new or pre-loved new to you. This is a big point, as you may not have the drivers on disc, and have to download some. Usually the most common error is that in transport with older pcs the dvd drive can become unnatched inside the tower, but if you can hear it spinning, some power must be getting through. Is the icon for the drive appearing in my computer? Check for yellow exclamation mark under driver list in control panel and post any error codes you see, this can help find a solution. (this is all located under hardware, under control panel) post back after you have tried this.
