Re: wet digital camera
You can call Kodak first and inquire on the warranty coverage and by then ask for a servicer if they will not cover it and if its going to cost you as much as buying a new one to have it fix then might as well buy a new one. Thanks for using Fixya!!

Check your lens. Clean with soft cloth they sell at most camera stores. If this does not resolve. You should bring it back to the store if its only 3 months they will give you hassle but its worth if for working camera
HAVE YOU TRIED USING ANY OF THE OTHER SETTINGS ON THE CAMERA IN THE DAYTIME? I.E., LIKE IN MOTION, LOW LIGHT, BEST SETTING, ETC. ARE THEY ALL THE SAME?DO THE LINES SHOW UP ON THE LCD DISPLAY? SOUNDS LIKE A PROBLEM WITH THE DAYLIGHT SENSORS INPUTING BAD INFO TO THE CAMERA. HAVE YOU TRIED THE ALMOST WORTHLESS KODAK CUSTOMER SERVICE WEBSITE? THIS SOUNDS LIKE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CAMERA THAT IS ONLY HAPPENING DURING DAYLIGHT EXPOSURE.
