I had the same problem, and ended up taking the front of the machine off, and removing the pump assembly. I then pulled the motors off and cleaned the impellers. It will now drain, the only problem that we still have, is that leaks. With the machine off, I poured a small pot of water into the drum, and it slowly leaks onto the floor. It has done this even before I pulled the pumps

How to fix drain hose on LG WM2487H M

The following are a number of things to check for the OE (drain error) indication.
If the washer does not drain then the drain pump may be clogged, damaged, or defective.
Sometimes, socks and other small articles of clothing can get into the drain system and clog the pump hose or the pump itself. Open the drain pump filter tray at the lower left of the machine and check whether it is clean, check also that the pump impeller spins freely. Remove the hoses from the pump and check for any obstructions.
First, check the drain hose to determine if it is kinked, twisted, or bent. If the drain hose is bent, straighten it out. In addition, remove the drain hose and check it for obstructions. If the drain hose has any obstructions, try to remove them. If necessary, replace the drain hose.
Check the machine's water level frequency by pressing the WASH/RINSE + DELAY WASH buttons simultaneously. Check the reading on the display, if it is below 260 (26 Khz) then have someone measure the resistance of the pump motor coil.
It should be between 10-20 Ohms resistance, if too high or too low, replace the pump assembly as it cannot be repaired.

The washer stops at 39 minutes on a regular wash cycle and the code OE is displayed

This fault code can mean that the pump is faulty as well as blocked, first of all check for a blockage and, if none is found then the likelihood is that the drain pump is faulty. Should you need it, the most common drain pump used on LG washers and washer dryers is this one.
On non-display panel models this fault code is denoted by the lights for 800, 500 and No Spin being lit or flashing.
  • Check pump filter is clear and there are no obstructions
  • Check the drain hose for obstruction
  • Check the drain hose is not kinked
  • Check the drain pump filter and clean if required
  • Check the air chamber and pressure sensor hose
  • Check drain pump, normal resistance is 152-175?
  • Check drain pump rotor
  • Check connections to water drain pump

Kenmore Elite He washer code "OE"

The 0E code means the washer won't drain. It is usually a problem with something obstructing the pump, a kink in the drain line or the pump is burned out.

What does oe mean on my washing machine display

Hi,
"OE" code in your washer indicates a Drain error. This is because the washer is not fully drained within 10 minutes. You have to check whether there is a kink in your drain hose, ensure the filter is clean, the drain hose can become clogged with sludge, sometimes a hot wash with 1/2 a cup of vinegar will remove this sludge.
Thank you !!

Morning, LG WD1295FB error OE, plese advise

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service. oe_led.jpg oe_lcd.jpg LED display models LCD Display Models Step 1: Check the drain pump filter. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.
Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.
Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.
