Hi,

If your Nintendo is under warranty, my advice is to take it to Nintendo service center..

If not you try removing the outer cover and remove the Coin...It should be poping out easil\y..

Dont try to shake it heavily, if the coim hits the Lens then your device eould be spoiled and you cant avail warranty..

Please revert me, if you need more assistance, i would be very glad to assist you more.
If you were satisfied with the solution please rate this sollution.

Thanks For using FixYa!

Coin stuck in wii, kids! please help.

How frustrating -- but very common unfortunately.

If you want to try and remove it yourself, you will need to open the Wii and open the drive. Most of the time, after you open the Wii, the coin will fall right out. Other times, you will also need to open the drive to fix it. There is a company here in the U.S. that will remove a coin pretty cheap, around $29.95 including shipping of the Wii back to you as long as nothing else is damaged:

Nintendo Wii

From the official Nintendo website:

"Object inserted into the Disc Slot If an object is inserted into the Disc Slot, it will automatically be pulled in, and it won't be possible to eject it. Do not attempt to open the Wii console or otherwise try to remove the object, as it may result in further damage to the console.
The Wii console will need to be repaired. Because this type of damage is not covered under Nintendo's warranty, there will be a charge for the repair. Please call 1-800-255-3700 to discuss available options."
