My screen on my toshiba laptop P775 comes on but looks broken

If you mean broken as in it has a crack, it has liquid effect leak or dark then yes you have a broken lcd

Replacing is not a difficult as it seems, mainly by removing a few screws around the frame hidding under the rubber pads, then sometime you also need to remove the keyboard/power control panel, then its jsut a case of removing the broken lcd and buying a replacement panel and fitting it.
heres me taking a panel out on another laptop but gives you the idea.
If your in London, then I can do the repair for, cost of parts + 20pounds + return delivery costs.

Dropped laptop screen

If the dropped laptop screen is broken the only way to fix it is to buy a new screen. Usually about 6 or 8 screws hold it on and a couple of harness plugs. The screen can be found on ebay, amazon, or the company website might have replacements. I had to replace my screen once and it cost me around $40.00 for the replacement. Labor was free for me because I did it myself.

The screen is broken and you can see the broken black line on the screen. can the screen get fix? How much will it cost me?

A replacement screen panel will have to be purchased and then fitted. This will be around £80-160 for the panel and then £70 fitting.

Broke the screen on my cob kyros can i get it fixed?

A broken screen isn't something which can be repaired with a software upgrade. There are two types of broken screens. An internally broken screen is where the image on the screen looks cracked, even though there is no physical signs of abuse. It will turn on but you'll see all these funny colors come onto the screen. An externally broken screen is basically if you took that laptop and dropped it onto something hard. You wouldn't get an image, you'd just hear some noise from the power supply.
Your best bet if you have a broken screen is to take it to a service technician to see what a screen replacement will cost. If the laptop still works you can also plug an external monitor into it. This won't let you use it so easily on the go, but at least you'll be able to use it at home.
Hope that helps.

I dropped my laptop on the floor, it fell on a corner, the screen is scrambled on the right side for 1 inch and the top right corner is black like a broken window what shouls I do? Thank you

You can either replace the screen or you can work on your laptop with a broken screen. Replacing the laptop screen is quite costly depending on your laptop model and availability of your parts.

Dear burke833,
You can easily buy one off of ebay install it yourself and fixing it. Just search on ebay how to open and replace a laptop screen. It would cost much MUCH less to fix it yourself for a 15.4" inch screen would cost around $80. Hope this helps!

Broken edge of lcd

You're going to have to send it in for repair. They'll be able to tell you how much it'll cost. Unfortunately, LCDs are not, strictly speaking, user-servicable parts.
