Deleted songs Ok...so my Pearl was working fine yesterday, but I hooked it up to a car sound system last night and it kept repeating the songs. Then I tried turning it on, and instead of having 187 songs I only have 4. Sometimes when I turn it on the screen goes crazy, and it shuts off...And when I try to upload more songs my computer doesn't even recognize it... HELP!!!!!

My guess would be that your mp3 may not be as compatible with the sound system as you thought, hmm... has your mp3 ever did anything like this before or even screw up atleast once?

Why no sound?

Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. My blackberry stopped working after i put a micro sd card in

did you format the card first... this might help. It could be too much memory. I put an old SD card in from a former phone and it was doing the same thing...powering on and off repeatedly.

Device keeps shutting off by itself and won't synch

Make sure the songs are in the right format. Napster is a real bear about disappearing songs - try another music svc.
