Timer-control panel is frozen

The code was actually "SAb bATH," not "5Ab bATH" and was listed in the manual. The "S" looks like a "5" and so we totally did not understand that there was a solution. After speaking with BearWeb, I followed his/her advice and called Maytag about warranty coverage. The rep there told me what to do to try to solve the problem by manually resetting the control panel. We just had misplaced the operation manual which listed a procedure to follow if the panel showed "SAb bATH." Thank you, still. I would have called the expensive repair service without your advice to call in the problem on warranty.
