Tilt the machine so you can look underneath. Inspect the bottom of the gearcase for oil. If oil is present, the oil may have migrated to the spin clutch causing it to slip during spin. The transmission and clutch will have to be replaced. Check your owners manual for limited warranty. The transmission may be warranted for 5yrs

My washer is still spinning the cloths but the clothes are much wetter that they used to be after the spin cycle. Any ideas of how to trouble shoot?

Check your belts and also check the drain hose to be sure it is pumping the water out at a good pace. Hope this helped.

Kenmore washer top load all cycles normal but when in the rinse/spin cycle notice it does not seem to spin fast enough to remove water from clothes and the are wetter then normal

There could be a number of reasons My best guess is that it will reduce the spin speed if it thinks it can't drain properly. Check that all the pipes/ filters etc are clear and that it can drain all the water out. Also it wont spin fast if the load is unbalanced. Does the spin speed change according to loading or is it low all the time? It may have a motor control problem, but that seems unlikely if it's working normally other than the spin.

I have a whirlpool ultimate care 2 top load washer no spin

Sounds as if the drive hub which the tub is attached to maybe free spinning. Not an expensive part but does require a special tool called a spanner wrench to remove and replace.

My bosch front loading washer on the small cycles will not spin the water out of the clothes..why?

Does it sound like the machine is spinning as fast as on longer cycles? Some machines run a slower spin speed on small cycles which can leave clothes wetter than normal. I've got this on mine and all I do is when the wash has finished I change over to the fast spin only program which then takes it to it's highest spin speed.

My washer seems to be functioning normal, but my clothes are coming out wet enough to ring water out of them. I have to run an extra spin cycle and they still come out wetter than other machines I've...

The drive belt may be slipping.

There is an adjustment on the motor (four bolts which secure the motor) If you increase the tension on the belt and pulley, you will get a better result.

Ask me if you need more instructions on this.

Spin cycle not working like it should

If the washer doesn't reach it's proper spin speed, the clothes may be wet at the end of the cycle. Since you have replaced the belt, it could be that you have a worn motor pulley or tub bearing. Check for damage to the pulley and shaft and for free play. Also make sure that there are no clothes or foreign objects caught between the inner and outer tubs or something causing friction on the drive train. Hope this helped.

SOUNDS LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT ALWAYS SHIFTING INTO HIGH SPEED MODE,TRY A MED. SIZE LOAD AND SEE WHAT THAT DOES,TRANSMISSION MIGHT JUST BE GETTING OLD WHIH IS NORMAL-MIKE

Clothes are still wet after spin cycle

possibly not a machine fault. if drain is connected to sink plumbing, remove the drain hose and see if it pumps out into a bucket.
