Yahoo Messenger doesn't display text when i write and receive text in IM my OS is : windows 7 32bit

Type some text in messenger, crtl+a. If you can see the text then it's just a matter of chanching color of the text. Elsewise reinstall java and flash, if that doesn't help you, create another account on your computer and check if IM is working OK on this account. If this is the case then the best solution is to make a backup of your account, delete your old account, create it again. Then import the backup. If the situation is the same on the 2nd account, some registry setting are ruined. You can always go back with system restore at the last time your comuter worked. If this doesn't work virus or spyware or an bad software installation corrupted your system files. Reinstalling your system is then the only choice. Reinstall the system, install Snaphop, make an image of your system and you will never come to the same situation again. Best regards

When you send/receive an instant message and no message appears, you probably have scripting disabled in your Internet Explorer.To enable scripting:

1. Click the "Tools" menu on your Internet Explorer toolbar and select "Internet Options."
2. Click the "Security" tab.
3. Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the "Custom Level" button.
4. Scroll down to "Scripting."
5. Enable the following:
   • Active scripting
   • Allow paste operations via script
   • Scripting of Java applets are all enabled
6. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.

Note: Restart Yahoo! Messenger and you should start seeing text in your IM windows again.

there you have to delete from your registry another folder that is not needed from your application then you are going to delete it..just follow my instruction if you have using another operating system then explore for it this is almost the same...for windows xp,2000,NT etc; other OS this direction may vary

first click on start>Run>type "regedit"find HKEY_CURRENT_USET>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Internet Settings>Zones.delete key or zone names as for example "?" or a square like you could seebut except keys 0,1,2,3 and forPLEASE DON'T DELETE keys 0,1,2,3 and 4.
