There are no internal fuses. Test for proper voltage at the outlet. 220 volts accross the two straight sides 110 straight to middle L shaped terminal. Dryer motor runs on 110 and will run fine with one fuse blown. or defective circuit breaker. It is more likely the element or one of the thermostats Usually the high limit one. Check for current at the element If 220 is available there replace element

I have a gas kenmore dryer... the drum runs- it blows air and for just a few minutes warm air but after a few minutes the air is cold. I have cleaned the vent checked it good. I didn't see the fuse on the back I have the bottom latch open and see several wires that can be disconnected; snap together.

Kenmore Elite Sensor Smart Gas Dryer - no hot air

unplug the dryer,if you haven't cleaned out the dryer check the thermal fuse located on top of the blower wheel housing, remove bottom panel, then remove lint filter, now remove the duct that the lint filter slides down into, now you'll be able to check the thermal fuse located on the top right side of the blower wheel housing, there's also a thermister there too,the fuse is the one on the left, part number 3392519 or 3390719,remove one of the wires and read it out with your meter.also while your in there vac out the inside of dryer,if you have a shop vac put it on blow and blow off all the lint that's built up on the motor and you can also blow the lint that's in the back of dryer forwards so you won't have to pull the drum,if you have a long run on the vent line from the wall to the outside blow it out with a leaf blower,if there is any blocks in the vent line, the duct or lint inside the dryer you could have a fire so this should be done every year, now if the fuse is good you gonna have to read out the ignitor, the sensor and the gas coils,if you have parcial heat it's definetly the gas coils, when they heat up they stop working when they're bad,if you need anything else let me know,so check the thermal fuse first, then the ignitor, sensor and coils,if they are good check to see if power is coming down to fuse and ignitor, you have a computer board on this dryer but most of the time it's the fuse and a dryer clean out

My dryer electric kenmore not start

If a dryer is not working at all that's not good! But it doesn't mean you need to go appliance shopping just yet. It may be something very simple like a broken door latch, a bad door switch or even a broken door switch actuator, in a kenmore dryer there is a tab thats sticks out of a hole in the wall that allows the dryer to run only if the door is shut, other models may have button that protrudes out of the dryer and when the door is shut, this allows the dryer to run. These switches go out from time to time, also if a dryer is full of lint build-up over time this will cause the dryer high limit or fuse to blow. The fuse is located near where the blower is in most cases. When the air in the dryer gets way too hot the fuse/hi-limit will blow and the house wont burn down.

OUR KENMORE DRYER BLOWS OUT COLD AIR

It's most likely a thermal fuse if it's a gas dryer. very easy to install. If your dryer is electric, it's either the thermal cut-off or the heating element itself. If you need help with anything, please feel free to e-mail me. good luck :)

air flow could be the issue or if your heater itself is grounded against the cabinet i think your unit is getting to hot check all your vent lines if you have good air flow check the heater try taking the vent totally off for a few cycles and see if the fuse blows agian
