I dropped my Pantech Crux and it doesn't turn on although when I touch the screen it vibrates as if I touched a button.

Some phones are more durable then others depending on where it was dropped from and how hard of a surface the phone landed on. Unfortunately from your description, there isnt much that can be done. Most likely your phone landed the wrong way and it blew some circuitry in the phone. U can always try to take out the battery for a few minutes, replace it and try turning it back on. But this almost never fixes the problem. U most likely need a new phone.

Dropped cell phone that has a slidding qerty keyboard straightalk samsung can still make calls screens black and the phone seperated from the keyboard only connected by a plastic strip? Can i fix this...

Thank you for writing in regard to your concern about asking if there is a way for you to fix the screen of your phone as it appears black. Let me help you with this.
There might be a damage on the LCD scree of your phone already. The best thing that you can do is to bring your phone to the nearest service center and let them fixed it. It is delicate on your part to change the LCD screen on your own as it requires an expert to fix that. LCD screen migt be costly. But, it will fix your phones proble.
Hope I was able to answer your query. Dont hesitate contacting us back.

Dropped my phone and it wont turn on.

Your Phone is physically damaged.

Most likely, the mainboard is cracked, not to mention other components may be as well.

What you need to do is to call your service provider and order a new one.
If there is no evidence of "Physical Damage", then it is defective and they will replace it free of charge (they may charge you shipping), as long as it's still under warrantee/you have device insurance through your service provider (usually about $5 per mo.).

Or, if they (your service provider) will not replace it, they may offer you a credit toward another phone/device.

If it is "physically damaged" You will have to buy a new phone most likely.

put the phone into a bowl of dry uncooked white rice. make sure its completely sumerged. let it sit for a few days. my sister dropped her blackberry in the bathtub and this worked for her. the rice absorbs the water out of the phone.

Wont turn on at all, put the charger in, phone turned off, now wont turn on at all.

your phone is dead it means that i wont do it it can be fixed mostly for free but you have send it to the compagny of the phone (nokia, samsung ect) if you have stil warrenty on it otherwise go to a phone shop and ask them but whatever you do change the charger! and if you want to be sure change the battery because there is a chance that your charger damaged your batterty and that your battery 'killed' your phone

Dropped my phone in the bath. doesnt appear to turn on. got new phone but dont have the numbers. can i get the numbers off the phone somehow?

the water is not a reasonable damage for the phone it self. you should simply let it dry for a couple of weeks ( is it thaks that long) close to a ventilated area. after this period of time, plug the battery again and it should turn on. don't try the hairdryer thing, because it has to naturally dry. Ciao!
