Question about Hemera The Big Box Of Art for PC

Hemera The Big Box Of Art

I have the Big Box of Art. I no longer have the box it came in & neither the User Guide, Image Catalog or the CDs tell me what version it is (215, 000 images, etc).

It worked great on my G3. I downloaded the BBOA 1.1.1EN Updater & after install, I'm told the install was successful. When I try to open BBOA, I'm told its not supported on this system. Can you help?

Check Hemera settings and ensure that the path for the picture files is the right one, where files are stored.

Hemera usually reads the picture files from CD/DVD unit, if your system had renamed the DVD form D:\ to E:\, for example , then Emera wont be able to find files anymore.

Solutions to this problem.

Check file source folder on Hemera settings, and assign the right CD path.

Do a system restore to a date before having the problem.

If still no luck, then Windows may be corrupted, in that case , the standard procedure is reinstalling Windows, then reinstalling Hemera, and the rest of the software.

HOw can I get The Big Box of Art by Hermera to be compatible with Windows 7?

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))

Installing Hemera Photo Objects on a new computer

First, copy all the CDs to a location on your hard drive.
You now need to use Preferences within the Hemera Image Browser - choose Search Folders and then press Add - to manually add each HPI folder. You'll find these inside the CD folders for each CD. Then it will work.

Henera The Big Box not exporting pictures

I had the same problem on my XP Media Center system. Some of the graphics either appeared to be all white, or they were like 99% white and you could faintly see the center of the image if you moved the mouse around.

Hemera has a fix. They call it a "faded image" problem.
It involves downloading two files. One is an updater. The other is a zip file that, once the contents are unzipped, you copy to the location where the first file was installed to.
