Sansa e250 my sansa is dea no respond blue light is coming but screen is black i m buy one year ago....alex?

  • Anonymous Jun 26, 2008

My sansa e250 MP3 player froze with the blue dial light on and a blank screen. I tried to hold the power button for 15-20 seconds and it turned off, but when I turn it back on it just freezes again as before. I took the back off and removed the battery and put back together again. Still, I get a blue dial and a blank screen. Please help...I just bought it and never got a chance to enjoy it before it froze.

Get the recovery tool from Sandisk Support downloads. Put it in a file you can easily find.
plug in the Sansa, once it turns on, hold the power button until it turns off then switch the hold switch at the top edge of the player to hold (showing orange) and then hold the "Record" button on the side until the player turns on with a black screen, saying it is in recovery mode.
Some people have said they had to hold both "Power" and "Record" to make it work.
Run the recovery tool software and you should be running again.

Sandisk sansa e250 blank screen

If you have a blank screen but the blue lighted ring is on. Remove the back, the battery, remove the 4 tiny screws. pop the front plate off. Carefully remove the circuit board from the case starting from the bottom. On the back of the circuit board you will find a smaller circuit board that is plugged in. This board sometime becomes partially unplugged do to rough handling. Press this board back into its socket carefully. Reassemble the unit and everything should be fine.I repaired 2 Sansa E280 unit from Woot grab bags with this method.

Where can I get my Sansa 250 repaired? It is over a year old and I can get no help from Sansa. The left navigational key was stuck and when I tried to pry it out, it popped out. Now I can not get the key...

Mp3 repair services are available in very limited areas, like Philadelphia - check your local yellow pages. Places such as Best Buy can repair them, but the repair costs more than a replacement player.

Sansa e250 wont turn on, help

I found the solution to our problem!! and it is very easy. Take the 4 screws off the back. Remove the battery. Press the on/off switch and all the others on the front. Replace the battery and the screws.

Mine needed to be plugged in again, but the computer could read the Sansa and I can see the screen again. Now it is charging and I think that the problem is fixed.

Good luck!

I believe this is answered already. Turn the hold button on. Red light will be on. Hold the rewind button while you insert it into the computer. Please search online this has been answered. I am recalling from what I read a few minutes ago.

Mp3 player wont play songs or anything

Only 2 suggestions here: 1) Make sure your HOLD switch is not enabled. 2) Try to update the firmware If neither of these work, time to send the unit back to Sandisk

SanDisk Sansa E250- Only the blue light comes on? HELP????????????

Try this: Switch your Sansa e250 to its Recovery Mode: 1. Make sure the player is powered off 2. Enable the "Hold" switch (located on the top of the player). You would know it's enabled when you see the "orange-colored" surface 3. Press the "Record" button. Make sure you keep it pressed while pressing on the "Menu" button. 4. keep your fingers pressed on these 2 buttons until the e250 LCD screen displays "Welcome to Recovery Mode" (if the LCD remains black, keep pressing long enough -- about 10 seconds -- then proceed to the next step) 5. Connect your e250 to your computer. (Just a reminder: The minimum Operating System requirements for a Sansa E200 player is Windows XP and above) 6. Double-click on "My Computer" and you would see your Sansa e250 appear as a "16 MB" drive. Note: If you do not see that "16 MB" drive/partition, please repeat steps 1-6. Next, Apply the firmware for the e250 (your player should be connected to your PC at this time): Step 1: Use this link to download the firmware for your Sansa e250 (for better results, please save this file on your "Desktop": http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downl... or use this Sansa Firmware Updater link: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 Step 2: Double left-click on the downloaded file, and follow the on-screen prompts. The file will automatically re-flash your player (or find the most updated firmware) and format it as well, thereby clearing all possible file/system corruptions that may have occurred. Step 3: When the process is complete, unplug your e250 from your computer, and please make sure you disable the "Hold" switch Step 4: Power up your e250 and 90-99% of the time, it would boot up successfully. I hope this helps.

Blank White Screen - No Menu Showing

My Sansa has a similar problem. Sometimes when the Sansa turns on (after the Sandisk logo) the screen will either turn black, blue, or black and white stripes. The player still works, but it is hard to navigate without the screen, obviously. What I end up doing is letting the backlight turn off and then pressing any button. Sometimes when the screen comes back, the display is allright again. But sometimes it takes more than a few tries. Turning it off and on again seems to work a little better, but it is more time consuming.
