I have a casio fx-83es

I have a casio fx-83es calculator. If I type in for example 87.67 34.56 , the answer will display as a fraction. I am aware how to get it in decimal form after hitting certain buttons but, As I am constantly dealing with such numbers how do I turn off/change this feature so it will display the decimal number as my answer initially.

Kind regards,
JS

Doubt you're still having this problem as its been months....figured id post for people who stumble across this from google.

Click on the shift button in the top left, then select the mode buttom (second from top right), then press the number 2. This should switch the calculator onto linear and will give you answers with decimal points.
