Hi Jim,

Somthing in the transmitter has become thermally intermittant. I ran across these problems quite frequently on the bench and the best way to find the defective component is to use cicuit cooler on the individual parts until you hit the troublemaker. Of course you do this while the unit is on and connected to a signal source so that when it starts to work you'll know it. There are no voltages inside high enough to worry about. Does the light go off on the transmitter when it quits??

Acer AM1100-E1304a do not start.

Try removing the battery. It may be the battery is eating all the power that the supply can produce, leaving nothing to run the computer. That could happen with a shorted cell or a completely dead battery. IF the power supply you are using is the correct one for your laptop.

After a city power outage, when I boot up my PC with a ABIT-AG8 motherboard, I get two short alarm sounds and then the PC shuts down again.

It's HIGHLY likely that your power supply has bit the dust. Replacement power supplies range from $25-$200 (depending upon the wattage and number of outputs). Replacing them is fairly easy and instructional videoes on YouTube are likely numerous. It would take a fairly skilled person less than 20 minutes to change one. If you need further assistance with this let me know.

Hi, i have a problem with my lg 32" ld350

This is a thermo-related issue. It happens when some parts in your TV reach certain temperature and fail creating short so TV shuts down and goes into protection mode.
In your TV the only thing that you can do is to replace Power Supply and hope it would help. Main board generally has nothing to do with temperature. Another probability - LCD panel itself (more likely back light inverter boards that are part of the panel, you can't order them separately).
There is inexpensive way to determine if it is power supply or not. You have to purchase fast-cooling spray that technicians use for diagnostic purposes (you can buy one in electronics components store).
You have remove TV rear cover so you have access to power supply board (the one where power cord goes). Turn on TV and let it run and eventually shut down. After that unplug it from wall outlet and use spray to cool down power supply board. Make sure you don't spray too much or you cooling anything else besides that board!. Let residue evaporate and plug TV back and try to turn it on. If it act OK and stays on for long time again - replace power supply and you should be OK.
Otherwise it is time for new TV. Panel is too expensive to replace.

I unplugged my emachine desktop when i went on vacation and now after repluggging it is dead to the world?

Hello there:
This is fairly common on these e-machines
Normally what happens is that the silver coin sized cmos battery will drain down and when this does by default it shuts it'self completly down untill you replace the battery ill need to be replaced.
Now what you can try first is to unplug the power cord from the computer and open the case and look for the cord that goes from the power supply that connects to the mother board and unplug it now press in the power on button for 1 min and release and if you have a reset switch do the same thing than wait 5 minutes and then reconnect every thing and try the computer again and see if this will get the system going ok if not get the battery changed and also check out the power supply too to make sure that it is running if not than the power supply may be bad but i dont see why it would if it was running just fine before you unplugged the machine ok
Hope all of this is very helpful for you If so please rate this solution for me
Best regards

When I attempt to turn on my computer after playing with the switch front and back it will start sometimes and run for a few minutes and then shut down. When I remove the four pin connector to the mother...

I've seen this before but the 4 pin connector was burnt pretty bad and not making a good connection. I'd see if you could gently scrape the pins a little bit with a small knife(motherboard) See if the connector from the power supply looks ok and doesn't look like it's gotten hot. The holes in the center of the 4 wire connector can be a little bit larger than the pins themselves also. You might try plugging in the connector and then holding some side pressure on the connector while you try to start the computer. Also unplug the hard drive and cdrom while you try booting. The power supply may not be putting out enough amperage and unplugging drives may give it a little more power. That would mean you might need another power supply if it works.

No power to the Wii

Yeah, it is sort of a common problem if you don't play your Wii much, simply unplug your power supply from the Wii, and the outlet, then wait a couple of minutes, and hook it back it, it should work then!

I have wireless speakers and the transmitter stopped working. Nothing happens when you plug it in--??? It's only a month old. AW872

Hi I also post in here , so that you can let me know how it goes.

Try unplugging the transmitter from power adapter, if it also has batteries remove them. Also unplug transmitter audio cable.

Then remove batteries/unplug adapters from speakers.

Wait few minutes and reconnect the system.

This is a proper hard reset, and can fix minor problems.

If when you re connect the transmitter does not glow, or you do not have sound on one or both channels then there is a fault.

Check the transmitter audio cable, a short in there can cause troubles.

If you find no problems , then unit is defective, as it is under warranty contact Acoustic Research to validate the warranty here and get the transmitter or the whole set replaced.
