Question about Sharp AR-BC260 Color Copier

Copy quality Copier copies great but when I print to it the blue comes out green. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you try to print out single colors of M,C,Y, and Bk. You may find that one of your developer unit is mixed with another toner such as the Yellow has mixed with the Cyan. Or vice versa..

    Note you may have to calibrate your computer aswell

Print quality is batter but copy quality is not batter horizontal lines come in copy


Clean the glass for the scanner. If you get lines only when copying usually it is dirt. If your copier has both an adf and a flat glass for scanning, scan from both and compare the quality.

Our printer will use the copier and scanner function fine but when we try to print some thing out it will not use any ink. we replaced both ink cartage black and color. All colors work when we copy or scan...


Do give the ink some time to come through, gravity will do the rest.

You could clean the ink heads to get the ink to come through quicker.

When printing the document, go through the settings and see if you see anything to do with the darkness of the print.

My Kodak 5100 printer has been great. Even though


Clean the printhead, then print a demo sheet.
  1. Verify that inkjet paper is loaded in the paper trays.
  2. On your desktop, start the KODAK All-in-One Home Center, then select the Help [?] icon.
  3. From the Help menu, select Maintenance, then select Printhead Cleaning. The On/Off light flashes green during the cleaning procedure.
  4. When the On/Off light glows a steady green, press Photo and Copy simultaneously to print a demo sheet.
Is the Demo printout giving the same result?
If so, you may need to replace the printhead. This is a very common problem with this model.

Scan Reads


Press the user tools/counter button. Select the counter in the lower right corner on the lcd display. If you need a hard copy. Press print on the screen. Press the green button on the copier.

Most likely when you make a copy you don't see the light scanning the paper, you can try this with the lid open to make sure. the Sacnning lamp is blown, need to replace

Image runner 5020 will not print or copy


Hello Ernest T,
If the main thermistor which monitors the temperature of the fusing unit (that hot as hell area) is out of postion this problem can occur. The thermistor determines when the fusing area is hot enough to allow the copier to display"READY". If it is backed away from the fuser roller it cannot reliably read the temperature and it may cause the copier to display suspended because it reacting as if because of a long copy run it could not keep up the temp and so it "suspends" as it tries to ramp the temperature back up. Make sure the thermistor is touching the fuser roller.

Colors


Did you run a quality test print by pressing ink etc...?

It might be that you have no magenta anymore.

If you can see all the 4 colored blocks on the test sheet, firstly try to copy(!) a picture with pink colors and secondly run a pc print. If there is still no pink and you have it blue or green on the COPY one the scanner needs readjustment (from service personell). If you have trouble with the pc printing, too there might be 
a defective ink cart holder which leaks and mingles the ink (you need a new ink cart holder then)

All in one printer


This seems to be a paper registration problem for the copy function only that is an HP thing Good old HP so innovative and so secretive none of us know whats going on most of the time. Two things to try. Take the stack of paper out of the feed tray and riffle so that it is slightly 'untidy' switch off the device , load the paper, switch on- see what happens. Next look at the software disk- there is usually a fully comprehensive reference manual on there [more than in the book]- check that out then come back.
